Origami and Ballerinas….

The Spring runway couture shows were wonderful this past week, I really loved Chanel’s cut-out flowers, and Christian Lacroix crown jewels. However, what really caught my eye this season was the flower and tulle trend, I love the mix of nature and femininity. Although, it’s gloomy and grey today in New York City, I have found inspiration in the beauty of origami flowers and graceful pastel hued ballerinas, check out Vogue’s Girl Korea, fashion spread and some of Spring’s 2009 Couture shows. I can’t wait for the Spring season to be here, enjoy :)

I LOVE this photoset and anything fashion-related that’s inspired by ballet! I was a semi-professional ballet dancer for two years after college, so it makes me nostalgic! :-D

Hi, good post. I have been wondering about this issue,so thanks for posting.

  6. I have always been a fan of folding paper particularly making paper airplanes. I started with a software called The Greatest Paper Airplanes published by Kitty Hawk. Unfortunately the software is no longer distributed today. It teaches how to fold 50 different paper airplanes. It’s a good place to start learning origami.
