Spring Fashion Fairy Tales

I’m so happy the weather is getting warmer, the birds are chirping louder and *taking a deep whiff* the scent of Spring is in the air. Spring makes me think of floral prints, ruffles, bright colors and calming neutrals but something else triggers in this little head of mine. On this season, fairy tales and fables come alive in a catalyst of fantasy, cute outfits and budding flowers. I have compiled some inspiring fashion lay-outs of my favorite tales, many of these stories take place during Spring, a season of hope and new beginnings.

PS: Click here – For my previous post featuring a fab Alice in Wonderland fashion spread!

Thumbelina
Within the flower, upon the green velvet stamens, sat a very delicate and graceful little maiden. She was scarcely half as long as a thumb, and they gave her the name of “Thumbelina”.

Snow White

The queen looked at her with an evil stare, laughed loudly, and said, “White as snow, red as blood, black as ebony wood! The dwarves shall never awaken you.”

Cinderella
Cinderella, shake the little tree, and it will throw down even more beautiful clothes. Go to the ball, but be careful to come back before midnight.

Little Red Riding Hood

Her mother was excessively fond of her; and her grandmother doted on her still more. This good woman had a little red riding hood made for her.

Little Girl Giant

The Little girl giant woke up, took a shower from the rime-traveling elephant and wandered off to play in the park (The Sultan’s Elephant)

Even though it’s Autumn over here in Australia, I love the transition from one season to the next…it’s like beginning a new chapter of a book.

Thumbelina all the way! So whimsical and girlie. Makes me want to go home and wear my ballerina shoes, my tutu, crown and wings. Then go prancing around the house. Hehehehe…

I am sure Mr. P will then promptly call 911 and have me taken away in a straight jacket. But that is ok, at least I will be a fairy princess for one day. :)

Wow! What a website. You have a real knack for making a blog easy on the eyes. Some sites look like train wrecks, but not this site – it’s a pleasure to visit. I have been a fan of animation since I was 11 years old. Nice to see a website like this one, it brings back a lot of memories for me. Thanks. I found your site while looking for something else on Google. I don’t have time to read it all right now, but I have bookmarked the home page and will check back regularly to see what’s new. Please have a look at my site at http://www.upxy.com and let me know what you think. Have a great weekend!

Whether I’m not really beneficial enough, or I just have no concept easy methods to promote myself personally but I truly simply cannot find virtually any followers. I’ve truly made an effort following people to get a warm and friendly follow back, assists somewhat but it just would seem almost everyone who does that needs the equivalent detail as me, someone to browse their daily drivel.
