After nine days I let the horse run free
…………….cause the desert had turned to sea

There were plants and birds and rocks and things
There was sand and hills and rings………

The ocean is a desert with its life underground
………….And a perfect disguise above

Under the cities lies a heart made of ground
But the humans will give no love………

The Fall season brings trends that are always popular: furs, plaids and wool (no suprise there) however this Fall’s hippie and folk trend looks more down to earth, evoking Dust in the Wind lyrics and America‘s nameless horse, do you guys like it? or do you think this trend is another Fall cliche?

I love it! And not just because I’ve been wearing a lot of it. There’s just something so comfortable about lots of loose, flowy layers.
Makes me feel like a free spirit. Even when I’m sitting in my office, glued to my computer.
Having grown up with ponies as a free little whirlwind I absolutely love this look…sometimes I am careful with allover patterns on me but the loose layers and material variations are great!
Blargh, I am so over the boho look, I much prefer the futuristic, tough luxe trend for fall!
I love the colors, texures, and easy style.
I must agree with Vyque!!! The boho thing does suit some poeple, but it seems to come back every year and I am so BOOOORED with it! The photoshoot here is quite lovely really, especially the last one with the little girl- so cute >.< but i wouldn't wear any of those clothes!!! It's winter over here in Australia right now, so we're not seeing too much of the boho fashions at the moment….but i know its coming!!! Oh well, each to their own, but I need to do some sewing, as it seems to be the only way to get the clothes I want! (and can afford :D)
I love the look of these photos! Her hair, the red lace-up pants, and the brown and white long frock would be so fun to wear! I have some great long deep green turquoise necklaces that would look so great with these clothes too.
I agree with you guys and think that this is a cool look, although I also agree with @vyque I am torn since I feel that the whole Boho thing has been blown out of proportion and theh tough luxe look is awesome. However, there’s always some room for hippie threads in my closet :P
Hmmm, I never really wear this kind of thing and it does pop up every year, it’s a bit of a cliche.
Too easy I think to do Autumn in russet browns and burnt orange!
Hey there I sumbled upon this article by chance, I was surfing around the net for New Designer Fashion when I found your webpage, I must say your site is very cool I just love the content, its amazing!. I’m strapped for time at the moment to entirely read through your website but I have bookmarked it and also signed up for your RSS feeds. I will be back when I have more time. Bravo for a great blog.
I think that this is one of the things that fashion designers shouldn’t mess with. This is a lifestyle, not a fashion trend. I’ve grown up around the real thing, my parents were hippies and they’ve passed their lifestyle onto me and it will always be a part of me. I mean, it doesn’t really bother me that they feel like turning it into high fashion stuff, who cares? If people think i’m just in it for the fashion or if they think im the real thing, i could care less, because i am who i am. I just hope people don’t get the wrong idea about the whole hippie thing.
Thats just my input.
