It’s amazing how things change within two years, take Lady Gaga for instance, she was a brunette indie artist in 2007. Now, she’s a full blown force and is one of the very FEW talented artists in the pop scene. Looking back at her old pics remind me of how much we can gain if we continue fighting for our dreams, nothing is impossible and we can also achieve our goals. Although Lady Gaga has now blonde locks, I still think she looked wonderful as a brunette, I don’t know if the rumors are true but I read somewhere she changed her hair color because she was constantly compared to Amy Winehouse, or maybe it was a choice made by the record company to make her more marketable. Whatever the reason, she is now one of the most influential artists on the music scene, do you think hair color has anything to do with an artist’s success? Do you think the blonde hair has helped Lady Gaga’s Career?
She sure looks different! I think that being blond has become a big part of Lady Gaga’s persona, but it’s hard to say what would have happened if she had stayed brunette.
She is very beautiful as a brunette, which is exactly why I think she changed it. She wants to look jarring, and shocking, and the platinum looks artificial and goes very well with her outerspace/haute couture outfits.
That’s an interesting question. I think that if you look at some of the really big American pop stars, they have all been blonde (or dyed their hair blonde). Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera come to mind, also Madonna…I think if you want to be a big pop star maybe it does come into play because it does affect your image. Not so much with other music genres. I love the brunette hair on her though. Way more than the blonde.

I think that Gaga might still be a brunette. I’ve seen videos and pictures of her getting ready for photoshoots and she’s usually brunette before. She also has tons of different hairstyles on a regular basis and I think that they’re wigs.
I don’t know if it’s really helped her career, but I think she looks lovely both ways.
