From my first childhood memories, one thing that I recall very vividly is watching Boy George wearing bright make-up and singing in Culture Club with the most amazing HAT my tender eyes had seen. Is this America? I thought to myself. MTV, is this what perfect singers are supposed to look like? Cable was a new novelty in Central America and I was hypnotized by the music and the foreign pretty young girl, ahem…Boy. You cannot imagine what I felt when I saw a flat brim bowl hat at the flea market two weeks ago. Holy Geezus, I found the holy grail of pop music *tears* I tried it on and I almost passed out, my first iconic symbol of American pop music, AGHHHH!!! I was filled with excitement and paid very proudly my $1.50 for my Karma Chameleon hat, I returned home and took pics with my new accessory and my favorite holiday dress. By the way, I wore my hat to the Fashion 2.0 event last week and it’s my new twitter profile pic, now you can’t say you didn’t see me ;)
