Today was H&M’s The Garden Collection debut and I couldn’t wait to take a peek and try some of these lovely items. The pieces were bright and full of vibrant flower prints and painterly hues. Overall, this collection has been one of my favorites for the Spring season - check out my picks!
Rosette Dress (recyclable polyester) – $39.95
When I first saw the preview of The Garden Collection, the first item that caught my eye was the red bloom dress, this dress has a great fit and also comes in a beige color. The flower bottom is cute and fluffy and the top is great because it gives you full coverage. This dress is perfect for any cocktail or special event, it’s a wonderful piece.
Pocket Flower Dress (organic cotton) - $17.95
I got my hands on this cute tent dress before it sold out, it’s adorable and has a simple silhouette. The dress has front pockets and ties on the back, if you need something simple, beautiful and comfortable this Spring, I highly recommend this item.
Ruffle Dress (Tencel) $49.95
I know I sound like a broken record but the fit of this collection is amazing! This piece is one of the more expensive items but it fits great, the pockets on the side make this dress versatile and chic, I love the colorful print and the ruffle collar.
Bubble Linen Shorts: $24.95
Lastly, I tried on these cute bubble shorts, I loved the tie-belt and the linen fabric. Although, the shorts are not part of The Garden Collection, I used the tent dress as a top and they looked great together :D
I hope you guys liked my picks from The Garden Collection, there were so many beautiful items but I didn’t have enough time to try everything I liked, I hope this quick look into H&M’s newest collection gets you excited for the Spring season, I can’t wait!

Everything looks awesome on you. Especially the ruffle dress which I unfortunately could not pull off. I ended up getting the peach pastel shirt/dress with the ruffles going down the sides (going to wear it with a cinched waist) and I got one of the flowery shirts that had a ruffle/bib thing :) I looove that pocket flower dress but I’m sure they are all gone at this point :)

I went to H&M today as well. Tried on a few things and some actually fit! Although H&M does not have plus sizes things were roomy and big enough to fit. Over all I am very happy with the garden collection and best of all great prices!

The ruffle dress is made of Tencel it’s a new biogradable fabric with minimal impact to the environment, it feels like soft polyester. Hope this helps :)

What size did you try on in the red rosette dress? How did you find the sizing ran?

I tried on a size 4 and it was a bit snug but the size 6 was a little too loose for my taste, so sizes run a little small on this dress but on other items the fit is perfect, hope this helps :)

Just bought the ruffle dress yesterday and couldn’t agree more about the fit! It’s perfection…so lovely!

Hi, I tried on a size 4, both pieces fit well but the ruffle dress was a bit loose at the top but still fit well, hope this helps :)

Hey Glendy,
I was wondering (if you don’t mind me asking) how tall are you? I am buying the red rosette dress off someone online and I have to decide between sizes 4,6, or even 8 (without of coarse being able to try it on). I am 5’4, with a 26 inch waist and am leaning towards getting the size 6. Supposedly the length of the size 6 dress is around 26″ long, so I am worried about it being kind of on the short side. If I decide on the size 8, that might just be too big…but h&m sizes always seem inconsistent. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
