i would ask dear anna to make it more edgy…i have been reading vogue for so many years…i used to love it for its “out there” fashion…now it seems so predictable…and that to me…is not what vogue is all about…

I would tell Anna Wintour, loved your mag, recently not so much. Like another person commented, its kinda lost its edge. I need more from your magazine and by more I mean its not diverse. I want to see more diverse styles, people and how about some curvier models. Maybe I am biased to curves cause I got lots of them…LOL But really Vogue does not represent me, can’t afford or fit into most things they feature. To me Vogue is not the be all & end all of fashion any more. SO that’s what I would tell her! Can I have my movie now! J/K :))

As an avid Vogue reader since I was 5 (yes seriously 5), it is difficult for me to critique Anna Wintour, as I believe that she is a genius. My only advice to her would to be to feature more plus sized models as other Vogue magazines have recently done. Not that I am plus sized but I believe they could increase their readership and draw in another demographic of women. If Anna Wintour does it the whole fashion industry will follow suit.

VOGUE’s problem is a lack of adaptation to the modern industry – it doesn’t reflect so much the fresh designers on the scene, the risk-taking, the indie-celebrities that are beginning to capture as many hearts as a-list stars, etc. VOGUE US is still catering to the fashion elite – an exclusive crowd that exists less and less. The coverage hints at a closed-off, mysterious industry … but the world of fashion is now exposed and more dynamic than ever. It may be abstract advice, but I’d tell her to leave a few more edges unfinished, toss a few more wild card products into the pages, produce editorials that have more of a world-view and ignite a spark in its readers. Sparks, Anna! Sparks!

I think that there are a lot of magazines which flourish through promoting celebrities, talking about their trials and tribulations and personal lives… but Vogue should keep its cameras squarely on what those celebrities are wearing, not what keeps them up at night.

Actually, Vogue should be showing us what they will be wearing next year. I just think that with the internet shuttling celebrity information around so quickly and efficiently, it can almost completely be written out of the magazine.

This is so annoying, like a true addict I got the DVD straight away and now there is a better one out! Anyway, I would tell Anna to be more inclusive and less exclusive, of ethnicities and lower priced clothes.
