Fragrance Review: Juliette Has a Gun

Juliette, Shakespeare’s heroine from Romeo and Juliet has returned! She’s sweet and romantic, sometimes strong and confident but always sexy and intriguing, and guess what?… She now carries a gun, her perfume is her weapon.  The naive helpless maiden we were familiar with is long gone, now a modern confident woman has re-emerged, this is Juliette Has a Gun.

This fragrance collection was created by Romano Ricci the great grandson of haute couture designer Nina Ricci, and grandson of Robert Ricci, the creator of the famous scent, L’Air du Temps (my mom’s favorite perfume). I loved the unique concept of this perfume collection, the fragrances are a mix of rock-n-roll, sexiness and freedom and I couldn’t wait to try out these fab scents….

The expression of undeniable femininity, confidence, and divinely sensual.

This perfume has an elegant scent mixing Bulgarian rose, patchouli and a fine tune of vanilla. This fragrance is great for a night out or a special evening, the tones are sexy and it has a slight masculine flair but keeps a strong feminine tone. This scent is great if you want to have an air of sensuality and mystery, who doesn’t love a femme fatale? ;)

The perfume of a virgin witch, docile and provocative, elegant and sensual.

This perfume has a wonderful mix of Moroccan rose, musk and a fruity finish. This is a great day-time fragrance, it’s elegant yet fun and flirty. This is my favorite scent from the collection, it has a sweet and bubbly flair but with a classy tone. This is a great fragrance for anyone who likes fruity or floral scents with a unique twist.

She is not only the most edgy lady, or the most glamorous, or the most intimidating, she’s just all of that at the same time, a Beauty on her own, Impossible to describe… and that’s exactly why she’s so fascinating.

This perfume is a mix of chypre, patchouli and amber. This scent is the most elegant and intriguing of the set, it can be worn day or night, it begins strong but ends in a soft powdery finish. The scent reminds me a bit of the classic L’Air du Temps, however Citizen Queen has a personality of its own with a modern twist and a liberating tone.

The perfumes range from $85.00 (50 ml. bottle) to $135.00 (100 ml. bottle) and the unique purse bullet sets are $75.00, you can purchase these wonderful fragrances HERE!

Which Juliette are you?

Much love,

I think you need to see the sassy gay friend video of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. Her friends stops her from offing herself by pointing out that she’s being much too dramatic. It’s on youtube, but there’s also a link on my blog. I laughed until I cried.
