Cool, is one of my favorite songs and video from pop icon Gwen Stefani. The scenes in the video are romantic and inspiring, the music video was directed by Sophie Muller and filmed in the beautiful and magical Lake Como, Italy.
The video portrays how Gwen is still “cool” with her ex-boyfriend while showing flashbacks of their past relationship when Gwen was still young and had (natural) brunette hair! The outfits during her flashbacks are simple yet beautiful and are perfect for Spring and Summer. I created a few affordable outfits keeping the vintage vibe of the video while giving them a modern twist, hope you like them :)

such a great post!! Its funny, I bought that cd when it came out and I never liked ‘cool’ but then this video came out and I was blown away, maybe bc it speaks to my own life story. :-)
What a nifty idea for a post!! I LOVE Gwen, and tho I probably prefer her edgier looks, these ones are totally wearable, and very summery :)

At first I thought of making an outfit inspiration post about her edgy looks and even when Gwen was in NO Doubt but I love this music video and for some reason it always reminds me of Summer, also the looks in the vid are timeless and classic <3

Love Gwen’s style — and the “Cool” video one of best ever, I think. And what a great idea for a Post — translating Gwen’s fashion to available and (mostly) affordable styles. Brunette hair was nice too — she looks easily as pretty that way as platinum!
