These past seasons designers have focused on our cute feline friends and to continue the cat trend M.A.C will be releasing it’s new Fabulous Felines collection to bring cat inspired make-up and hues for fall. Check out the lovely tones and colors for the upcoming season with clever names like Russian Blue and Ocicat, I love the blue short hair cat for Palace Pedigree, it reminds me of my kitty Lanita :)  Fabulous Felines lands in stores on August 26th, check out the pics…

Leopard Luxe

This sale is a new take on the “Target pop-up” shop concept for which Target has become known. Once only accessible to fashionistas in a specific location, this virtual pop-up store offers the whole country early access to the highly coveted limited-time-only collections before anyone else.  (All items are final sale since they are in limited quantities and members are being provided early access.)

The collections will be available in Target stores and on Target.com this fall – Tucker and John Derian hit stores in September, while Mulberry will be in stores in October.

• Charlotte Russe is getting a well needed make-over, the retail team has decided to give Charlotte Russe stores a chic new look that will enhance the buyer’s experience with a grown-up trendy boutique feel. I think it’s about time Charlotte Russe stores had a face-lift, I didn’t like digging through random sections of clothes and accessories, what do you guys think of the new change?

The goal of the changes is to attract a larger audience of shoppers aged 15 to 29 years old, compared with the previous core demographic of 15- to 18-year-old girls. Charlotte Russe’s teen-oriented fits often haven’t been appropriate for young adults, but have been adjusted to appeal to a wider spectrum of people in an age-spanning psychographic of fashion coveting shoppers that can’t always afford designer wares.

“We had her [young adult customers] coming in, but she was not always finding what fits her,” Ming said. “Today, so many teens shop older and many older [customers] shop younger. HUE is launching its 2010 Guest Designer legwear collection with fashion designer Michelle Smith, founder/designer of Milly who is known for her Parisian-chic styles which school girls to career girls both carry with charm.  The legwear collection debuted on Milly’s Fall 2010 runway show at Bryant Park.  With HUE a long-time fan of Milly’s unique, stylish prints and gorgeous colors, a collaboration with Michelle Smith was a natural fit.  HUE created the guest designer program to bring legwear to a new level, as well as offer exclusivity within the legwear category, by combining the extraordinary talent of well-known designers like Michelle Smith with the technical expertise of HUE’s design team.

Hey guys, sorry for the lack of posts but it’s been a hectic week but it’s finally Friday! To end the work week in style, I wanted to share with you this wonderful exhibition on display at Swarovski Wien in Vienna by Gerda Buxbaum. The pieces are absolutely stunning and magical, I know we’re not even in the fall season yet but seeing this display makes me long for winter, haha.  Check out the pics….

“Swan Lake”, the latest exhibition on stage at Swarovski Wien, will make you swoon. Seriously, it’s like stepping straight into a slice of Greek mythology set against a bedazzling ballet backdrop by Tchaikovsky and swimming in a sea of swan feathers. Pieces on show include a headpiece by Shaun Leane & Philip Treacy for Alexander McQueen for Swarovski Runway Rocks. Sheer magic – see and be spellbound!
